Paar mehr Nummern zu groß denk ich. Was wäre denn mit Avenged Sevenfold, auch zu groß? Five Finger Death Punch könnt ich mir vorstellen, weil sie ein neues Album haben und Juni Festivals wohl nicht spielen, wegen der Tour im Frühjahr. Müsst ich jetzt nicht unbedingt haben, aber ganz dagegen wäre ich auch nicht.

Vermutlich leider eine oder zwei Nummern zu groß, aber Rage against the Machine wären schon geil. Werden ja nächstes Jahr wieder aktiv.

I am not disappointed, but I agree, there should come some Thrash Metal. Exodus, Kreator, Sodom, Tankard, Dust Bolt... But I am quite optimistic.

Thanks for posting that buchi. That Jan update from last year was super strong. My favourite acts from the whole festival are there, with Enslaved, Hypocrisy, Midnight probably my top 3.

I hope they have some more like this coming. I'm still hoping for Helloween or Kreator

Yes, both might be possible. But Kreator still has a tour in April. Maybe even afterwards?

That would be awesome. Both are on the Nuclear Blast label, and they haven't done the "Nuclear Blast Label Night" that they did last year. Lot's of good bands are possible with that label

Yes, 6 bands tomorrow.
There are hints for Trivium and Megadeth.
Trivium is going to release the first single of the new album tomorrow. And there was an article that the Megadeth, Lamb of God, Trivium, In Flames Tour is coming to Germany as well, acording to festivals united Forum, which has been deleted again.
The tour is in North America till first of August and again in october. It would make sense to come to Europe for August Festivals. But Lamb of God still has tour dates in April (so does Kreator) and In Flames was here last year.

Somebody asked on Facebook how many bands will be announced and they answered 6.
I don't think it is the label night. I think they should announce some headliner now, but I don't know. I think waiting 2 months for announcements could be caused by bigger bands announcing their tours. Otherwise they could have announced smaller bands already.

6 bands that I don't care for... maybe Havok. I'm losing faith in this years festival. I don't think SUMMER BREEZE is for the old school fan anymore

das seh ich leider ähnlich! da wartet man seit zwei monaten sehnsüchtig auf die nächsten bestätigungen in der hoffnung das mich da noch richtig was vom hocker haut und dann gibt´s zum auftakt des zweiten teiles nur solche, mit verlaub, rohrkrepierer. ja, ich geb´s zu, ich warte noch auf "trash-metal-helden meiner jugend" und davon sind gerade noch recht viele, vielleicht in ihren letzten zügen, unterwegs. wenn ich noch dazuschreibe, daß meine jugend ende der 80er, anfangs der 90er war, dann können sich die älteren hier sicher leicht vorstellen, welche bands ich mir für das diesjährige SUMMER BREEZE noch wünschen würde. ansonsten habe ich mich bis jetzt noch nie so NICHT auf das festival gefreut wie 2020. tut mir leid, aber da ist aktuell schon viel frust mit im sack!
